FOUNDERS
Ryan and Sheri Young have always had a special place in their hearts for helping guide and encourage teen boys to become the men that they were created to be. After mentoring teens for over 10 years, they both felt the Lord had an even greater calling for their lives; to begin a ministry that would allow them to help even more teens. The Lord called them to sell their house and buy a farm. This farm would allow them to provide teens with countless opportunities for growth and guidance through hands on experiences. In obedience to their calling, they sold their house and bought a farm!
Ryan Young, Founder and Executive Director: He obtained a bachelor's degree in criminology with a minor in psychology and sociology. He is a veteran of 12 years in law enforcement as a corporal. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed numerous training courses, including juvenile sensitivity and gangs. He was on the special ops team (SWAT) for 11 years and enjoyed working with teens, especially those in gangs. His years of experience on patrol and numerous training courses have allowed him to gain the knowledge first hand to understand how to help teens boys grow spiritually, mentally and physically.

Sheri Young, Co-founder and Administrative Director: She was a full time Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist who owned and operated her own business for 15 years. In her career, she has worked with Elon University Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Teams as their massage therapist from 2015- 2017. She closed her massage business in June 2017 to pursue PLS full time as the Administrative Director. She enjoys Christian outreach through impacting and teaching others.
